I’m loving the HockeyTracker app for my Apple Watch. While I wonder how accurate it is at times (22.6mph seems a bit high), it provides great insight into workouts on the ice.

I’ll admit, it’s a little weird wearing your watch on the ice but the cuff covers it pretty well. If you are that worried about damaging it, buy a pair of these. Overall, the data is cool to see and it’s interesting to see how you are improving over time.

Snowboarding Mt. Hood

Mt Hood from Airplane

Had an awesome opportunity during a recent business trip to the Portland area. Our primary goal was to visit with customers and record a Business Impact Workshop with Sprinklr. Our secondary goal was to to make the most out of of the long journey out west and snowboard some powder on Mt. Hood.

I’ve been snowboarding for years but never had the opportunity to ride on anything other than the often treacherous, icy hills of Western Pennsylvania – this was a big deal.

We hit up the Timberline lodge mainly because it had a hotel plus it was closest to the summit. Even though it was INSANELY windy and cold riding at the top, we couldn’t have asked for better weather or conditions.
